Founder Toolkit: Your Personal Fundraise Intelligence Layer

We built GemScore to tell you how strong your startup is. But founders kept asking the same question: "OK, my score is 65 — now what?"

Today we're launching the Founder Toolkit — a suite of four tools that turn your GemScore evaluation into a personalized action plan for fundraising.

What's New

1. Funding Prep Score

A dynamic 0-100 score that answers: "Am I ready to fundraise right now?"

This is different from your GemScore. GemScore measures how investable your startup is. Funding Prep measures how prepared you are to actually go raise — do you have a data room? Evidence of traction? Expert validation? Financial projections?

The score is computed from six weighted dimensions:

  • GemScore (30%) — Your evaluation results
  • Traction Evidence (25%) — Evidence items you've uploaded
  • Data Room (15%) — Completeness of your data room
  • Market Evidence (15%) — Real-world demand signals (new — see below)
  • Financial Clarity (10%) — Whether you've completed financial projections
  • Expert Validation (5%) — Third-party opinions received

Each dimension shows a breakdown bar so you can see exactly where to focus. The score updates automatically whenever you add new data.

Where to find it: Dashboard → Funding Prep card, or click "Funding Prep" on any idea page.

2. Peer Benchmarking

"How does my startup compare to similar ones?"

After evaluation, we rank your startup against all others in your segment — by stage, vertical, and geography. You get a percentile for each dimension (Team, Market, Risk, Business) and an overall ranking.

The radar chart overlays your scores against the cohort median and top quartile, so you can instantly see where you stand out and where you're behind.

Benchmarks update weekly as more startups are evaluated. The more startups in your segment, the more accurate the comparison.

Privacy: All data is strictly anonymized. No startup can see another's data. We require a minimum of 30 startups per cohort before showing benchmarks.

Where to find it: Dashboard → Peer Benchmark card, or any idea page → Toolkit → Benchmarking.

3. Market Evidence Collector

Real proof that people want what you're building.

Instead of just telling investors "the market is huge," now you can show them actual community discussions where real people are complaining about the exact problem your startup solves.

The Market Evidence Collector automatically searches across multiple online sources for discussions matching your problem space. Each result gets a relevance score, engagement stats, and a direct link to the source.

Even better: market evidence is now automatically collected during every evaluation. Our Market Agent gathers community demand signals alongside its usual research and uses them as independent evidence in the analysis. You don't need to do anything — it just happens.

4. Investor Tracker & Rejection Pattern Analyzer

Turn investor rejections into actionable intelligence.

Most founders get rejected by 50+ investors and learn nothing from the pattern. The Investor Tracker changes that.

Log each investor interaction: who you talked to, at what stage (cold outreach → intro call → first meeting → partner meeting → term sheet), and if they passed, why (market size, team gaps, too early, no traction, etc.).

After 3+ rejections, the Rejection Pattern Analyzer activates. It identifies your top rejection reasons, maps them to your GemScore dimensions, and tells you something no other tool can:

  • "Real weakness" — investors cite market size concerns, and your GemScore market analysis is 42/100. The concern is valid. Fix the underlying issue.
  • "Storytelling problem" — investors cite market size concerns, but your GemScore market analysis is 78/100. Your startup is fine — your pitch isn't communicating it.

This distinction between real weaknesses and storytelling problems is the most valuable insight the analyzer provides.

Where to find it: Any idea page → Investor Tracker.

How It All Connects

These four tools aren't isolated — they feed into each other:

  • Market Evidence improves your Funding Prep score (and your evaluation)
  • Rejection patterns suggest which dimensions to improve
  • Peer Benchmarking shows where you rank vs. others on each dimension
  • Your Next Steps card on the dashboard prioritizes the single most impactful action

The dashboard now shows three new cards: Funding Prep (per-idea readiness list), Peer Benchmark (top percentile), and Your Next Steps (personalized actions). Everything links to the relevant detail page.

Dashboard Cards

Share Your Score

Want to show off your GemScore? The Share Score feature lets you generate a public score card with a unique link. Share it on Twitter/X, LinkedIn, or anywhere else — the link shows your Potential and Readiness scores with a visual card.

Toggle sharing on or off from any report page. When shared, you get direct share buttons for X and LinkedIn, plus a copy-to-clipboard link.

Multi-Language Support

Athanor now speaks 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Ukrainian, Azerbaijani, and Chinese.

Every page — the dashboard, reports, data rooms, marketplace, all settings and static pages, and even this blog — is available in your preferred language. Use the language switcher in the navigation or your profile settings.

The platform automatically detects your browser language on first visit. Report translations work two ways:

  • Quick Translate — instantly translate any existing report to another language (free)
  • Full Re-evaluation — re-run the entire AI evaluation in a different language (1 credit)

Blog posts are translated too — you're reading one right now.

Need a language we don't support yet? Contact us — we can add new languages based on demand.
