What information do I need to provide?
You can either fill out our structured questionnaire (covering problem, solution, market, team, traction), or upload a pitch deck (PDF), images, or voice notes. The more context you provide, the more accurate the evaluation.
Can I share my GemScore report with investors?
Absolutely. Every report has a unique shareable link. You can also export it as PDF, copy sections directly, or embed it in your data room. You control visibility and can add password protection.
Can I re-evaluate after making improvements?
Yes. You can re-run the evaluation anytime you have credits. This lets you track progress—watch your Readiness score climb from 18 → 45 → 70 as you hit milestones. We're also building a "diff mode" to show what changed between runs.
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI chatbots?
ChatGPT is great for brainstorming. GemScore is built for defendable evaluation:

What stage is GemScore best for?
GemScore works best for Pre-Seed to Series A startups. Idea-stage founders use it to validate concepts before building. Traction-stage founders use it to identify gaps before fundraising. It's less useful for later-stage companies (Series B+) that already have strong metrics.
Is my idea confidential and secure?
Yes. Your data is private by default. We do not train public AI models on your submissions. Only you can see your report unless you explicitly share the link. You can also add password protection for extra security.
Can GemScore evaluate products or services, not just startups?
Yes. GemScore can evaluate anything with a value proposition: new product features, service lines, creator businesses, or internal tools. The framework adapts to different contexts while maintaining the dual-axis scoring approach.
What if the AI can't evaluate my submission?
We have a confidence safeguard. If the AI determines it cannot confidently evaluate your submission (e.g., too vague, missing critical information), we won't charge you or will refund your credit. You'll receive guidance on what additional information is needed.
What if the AI hallucinates (makes things up)?
We take AI accuracy seriously. If your report contains fabricated information — invented statistics, made-up competitors, false claims — we'll refund 2x your GemScore credits. Just contact us with your evaluation ID and examples. This doesn't cover disagreements with subjective assessments — only verifiably false, fabricated facts.
How accurate are the scores?
GemScore is calibrated on thousands of real startup outcomes and venture diligence notes. Scores are evidence-based: Potential allows optimistic thinking, but Readiness demands proof. The adversarial debate catches inflated claims. Our system continuously learns from real-world funding outcomes.
What is the Live Builder?
Live Builder is a conversational way to fill out the evaluation form. Instead of clicking through fields, you chat with Marcus — an AI assistant who asks questions and fills the form for you. It supports voice and text input, can do basic web research, and is ideal for early-stage brainstorming. For maximum precision, use the classic form. Live Builder is free during the promo period.
What's the difference between Screening, Assessment, and Verification reports?
Screening (Free Daily): Potential score only, 4 agents, basic models, 3-5 min. Good for quick validation.
