Oracle Connections: Verified Metrics in Your Data Room

Investors ask for traction data. Founders send screenshots. Screenshots can be edited. Spreadsheets can be inflated. Everyone knows this, and it erodes trust on both sides.

Today we're launching Oracle Connections — a way to connect your actual tools directly to your Athanor Data Room and let the numbers speak for themselves.

What Are Oracle Connections?

Oracles are direct API connections between your business tools and your Data Room. When you connect Stripe, for example, Athanor pulls your real MRR, ARR, total revenue, subscriber count, and churn rate — directly from Stripe's API.

These metrics appear in a new Verified Metrics section of your Data Room, tagged with a verification badge. Investors see real numbers, pulled from real systems, with no manual entry involved.

No screenshots. No spreadsheets. No trust gap.

Day-One Providers

We're launching with five integrations that cover the metrics investors care about most:

Stripe

Revenue is the metric investors ask about first. Connect your Stripe restricted API key and Athanor pulls:

  • Total Revenue (all-time)
  • MRR and ARR (calculated from active subscriptions)
  • Active Subscribers
  • Churn Rate (30-day rolling)
  • Net Revenue (30-day)

Google Analytics 4

Product usage and growth signals. Connect via service account and get:

  • Total Users and Active Users (30d)
  • Sessions and Page Views
  • Bounce Rate
  • Average Session Duration

PostHog

For product-led startups that track engagement deeply:

  • Total Events (30d) and Unique Users (30d)
  • Average Session Length
  • Retention Rate

Works with PostHog Cloud and self-hosted instances.

HubSpot

Sales pipeline visibility for B2B startups:

  • Total Contacts and Total Deals
  • Total Deal Value
  • Deals Won / Lost
  • Win Rate

Plaid

Bank-verified financial data for startups where revenue flows outside of Stripe:

  • Total Accounts
  • Current Balance and Available Balance

How It Works

  1. Connect — Go to your Data Room's manage page and click "Add Connection." Pick a provider, enter your API credentials, and set the visibility level.

  2. Sync — Athanor immediately pulls your latest metrics. After that, it syncs automatically on a schedule (every 6 hours for Stripe, every 12 hours for analytics tools). You can also trigger a manual sync anytime.

  3. Display — Your Data Room now shows a Verified Metrics section. Investors click a provider card to expand and see the numbers — each with a verification badge and timestamp.

  4. Control — Each connection has its own privacy level:

    • Limited — visible to anyone with Data Room access
    • NDA Gate — only visible after signing your NDA
    • Owner Only — only you can see it (useful while setting up)

You stay in full control of what gets shared and with whom.

Why Verification Matters

The startup fundraising process has a trust problem. Founders self-report metrics. Investors have no way to verify them without requesting bank statements or demanding admin access to tools.

Oracle Connections solve this by creating a verified data layer:

  • Tamper-proof — Metrics are pulled directly from provider APIs. Founders can't edit the numbers.
  • Timestamped — Every sync creates a snapshot. Investors can see when data was last updated.
  • Trend tracking — As snapshots accumulate, Athanor computes period-over-period trends automatically.
  • Credential security — API keys are encrypted at rest, masked in the UI, and never exposed to investors.

This isn't just about convenience. It's about building a fundraising ecosystem where data integrity is the default.

For Investors

When you open a Data Room that has Oracle Connections enabled, you'll see a Verified Metrics section below the document sections. Each provider card shows:

  • The provider name and verification badge
  • When data was last updated
  • Key metrics with values and trend indicators

No action required on your part. The data is there, it's verified, and it updates automatically.

What's Next

Oracle Connections are live today for all users with a Data Room. We're planning to add:

  • More providers — QuickBooks, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Intercom are on the roadmap
  • Webhook support — Real-time updates when events happen in connected tools
  • Historical charts — Visualize metric trends over time using snapshot history
  • AI integration — GemScore agents will be able to reference verified metrics during evaluation

Get Started

  1. Go to any idea's Data Room
  2. Click Manage Data Room
